Kaffeehaferl, one of the most beloved Oktoberfest fixtures since 1976, offers a comfortable retreat with its charming Bavarian coffeehouse atmosphere—think rumpled curtains, tufted alcoves, and homey camaraderie amid the festival’s excitement.

Beer 

Schiebl’s Kaffeehaferl is different in that it does not pour traditional beer but instead serves its colorful signature “The Hulk” beverage along with chilled Prosecco, changing summer punches, Caribbean cocktails, fresh juices, and innovative ice cream desserts.

Schiebl’s is a dessert lover’s dream come true, with a delightful array of sweet goodies that perfectly complement the Bavarian culinary tradition with each delicious bite.  

• Dumplings & Classics: Fresh steamed dumplings with vanilla sauce and Auszogne (raisin-studded crown), all made homemade in front of guests. Famous delights include apple fritters and strudel variations like apple, plum, or cream.

• Coffee & Spirits: Freshly roasted international coffee specialties—espresso, café au lait, cappuccino—plus their legendary homemade Irish coffee. Wine lovers enjoy 5-star Munich Christmas Market mulled wine, cherry mulled wine, apple punch, and white mulled wine.

• Kid-Friendly: Truly homemade children’s punch and hot chocolate with whipped cream.

reservations

Schiebl’s Kaffeehaferl is a charming restaurant with about 60 seats that is first-come, first-served and does not take reservations. Just stop by and reserve a table if one is available.
