the history
The Münchner Stubn has established itself as the intimate ‘Munich living room’ of Oktoberfest since its debut in 2022. Under its black-and-yellow canopy a nod to Munich’s colors, this climate-neutral tent, operated by Kathrin Wickenhäuser-Egger and Alexander Egger, seamlessly blends tradition and modernity.
Brick walls, beer-mug chandeliers, and a gallery of local legends are just a few of the historical touches that lend the interior its charm. Designed like a Munich townhouse, it features roomy seating for 440 guests. Live music fills the space from a 2.7-meter-high musicians’ podium, backed by a mural celebrating Bavaria.
The Stubn, a celebration of sustainability and local pride, proves that Oktoberfest can be both joyous and intimate like a gathering in your favorite parlor.
Family-friendly atmosphere
The tent is the perfect family-friendly Oktoberfest tent, where generations come together to create new memories while reliving nostalgic moments. With its warm, welcoming vibe and celebration of Munich’s rich culture, it offers a cross-generational experience—whether savoring roasted chicken, singing along to classic tunes, or simply soaking in the festive atmosphere.
Beer
Münchner Stubn pours refreshing Paulaner beer, along with a selection of fine wines and schnapps, perfectly complementing its authentic Bavarian dishes.
